It is proved that the introduction of energy-saving technologies in the economic activity of both enterprises and individuals is one of the basic steps in solving many environmental problems - climate change, air pollution, depletion of resources and others. The main directions of energy-saving technologies include several categories: saving thermal energy in production, transport and consumption; saving electricity; water saving during water intake, transportation and consumption; fuel economy in the production of electricity and heat; water, gas, heat and electricity metering; energy audit, preparation of energy passports, energy audits; renewable sources of heat and electricity. Based on the analysis of the modern thesaurus of greening of the agricultural sector, a system of strategy for the development of the agricultural sector has been developed, based on the principles of: ecological balance; adaptability; preservation; restoration; rational restriction; balanced consumption and production; ecologically balanced growth based on environmentally efficient use of resources, development of eco-oriented industries, use of environmentally friendly technologies, environmental protection, biodiversity conservation, improved business environment of environmentally responsible agricultural enterprises; the principle of viability and adaptability; inclusiveness and self-regulation; partnerships; public participation, implementing the quadro-helix principle for innovative development.
