The calculation of the expected methane release within the excavation site, the calculation of air flow for ventilation of the excavation site, the calculation of the productivity of the degassing system. "Measures to control the degassing system during fires" have been developed. The project of degassing of the excavation section of the lava №139 formation n7н of the mine "Stepova" of SE "Lvivvugillya" has been developed. Agreed "Project of ventilation and isolated removal of methane from the produced lava space №139 horizon 557 m on the rigid metal pipeline by means of the gas suction installation ВМЦГ-7M of mine "Stepova" of SE "Lvivvugillya" on condition of performance of the developed recommendations. Recommendations for ensuring gas safety during operation of the gas suction unit ВМЦГ-7M of the lava excavation section №139 of reservoir n7н of the mine "Stepova" of SE "Lvivvugillya" have been developed.
