With the help of a complex method using chromatography, investigation of the propensity of rock samples to spontaneous combustion was carried out. It is established that rock is not dangerous for spontaneous combustion and can be used as a filler of linear parts of shafts and wells during the liquidation of the mine named after M.I. Stashkov of Dniprovska Mine Group of DTEK Pavlogradugol. Based on the results of the performed work, recommendations were made and transferred to the mine.
