The purpose of the work is to develop a project for degassing of the excavation section 1041 of the lava of formation С10в of the mine "Western Donbass". Research methods – generalization and analysis of results, methods mat. statistics, calculations by standard methods. As a result of the work, the technical documentation for testing 1041 lava of PSD "Mine management "Ternivske" of the mine "Western Donbass" of PJSC "DFEK PAVLOHRADVUGILLYA" was analyzed. The calculation of the expected methane release within the excavation site, air flow for ventilation of the treatment plant and the excavation site, parameters and mode of degassing of the roof by wells, the required diameters of the pipeline. "Measures to control the degassing system of the excavation site during fires in the mine workings" have been developed. The project of degassing of the excavation section of 1041 lava of formation С10в of the mine "Western Donbass" is developed. Recommendations for ensuring gas safety of the excavation section 1041 of the lava of PSD "Mine management "Ternivske "of the mine "Western Donbaska" of PJSC "DFEK PAVLOHRADVUGILLYA" were developed using a direct-flow ventilation scheme type 3-B with isolated methane removal from the produced rigid space outside pipelines due to the general mine depression". The "Project of isolated methane removal from the produced space 1041 of the lava of formation С10в" was agreed.
