The object of research - intermetallic catalysts for the disposal of carbon-containing components of industrial enterprises. The subject of the research is ecologically safe processes of neutralization of gaseous emissions of industrial productions containing carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons. Research methods - methods of risk assessment for public health; catalytic methods with chromatographic analysis of the gas mixture, optical and electron microscopy, X-ray phase and micro-X-ray spectral analysis; regression analysis; physical modeling and mathematical processing of experimental results. The work is devoted to the development of technical measures to increase the ecological safety of carbon monoxide (II) and hydrocarbons emissions, by their catalytic oxidation on intermetallic catalysts, the optimization of catalysts composition, and the study of the catalytic activity nature as well as the properties of these catalysts, depending on the catalytic activity nature of the multiphase Ni-Al system. The possibility of obtaining intermetallic catalysts on the basis of the self-propagation high-temperature synthesis (SHS) method is considered.
