The subject of research is theoretical, methodological and practical aspects of the formation and development of the digital economy. The purpose of research is to develop the theoretical aspects of the digital economy, develop scientific and methodological approaches and practical recommendations for solving problems of digital economic transformation, financial and real sectors, public administration and social institutions in a post-industrial society. The study singled the basic provisions, problems and prospects of Industry 4.0 and digital transformations of the real sector of economy.
