Dept., Chair of NPP and Eng.Th. Phys. popup.description2  The object of research is the processes of heat and mass transfer and hydrodynamics in the miniaturization of two-phase heat transfer systems. The subject of the research is the study of regularities and indicators of influence on heat and mass transfer and hydrodynamics of various factors in miniature two - phase heat transfer devices. The aim of this project is to study the influence of regime (heat flow, temperature and pressure), geometric factors (diameter of internal space, length from the heating zone to the condensation zone, type of capillary structure) and thermophysical properties of heat carriers (nanofluids) on heat exchange during boiling and condensation. closed two-phase evaporation-condensation systems (miniature heat pipes, thermosyphons and pulsating capillary heat pipes). Research method - experimental - theoretical. The paper presents new approaches for intensification of vaporization processes in the evaporation zones of miniature heat exchangers and presents their designs with different heat transfer characteristics. Tests of the characteristics of experimental samples of miniature evaporation-condensation systems are given. A study of the interaction model in annular two-phase systems and determination of the conditions for maintaining the stability of the film flow during countercurrent motion of gas and liquid in vertical channels with a mesh coating.
