This indicates the relevance and necessity of measures aimed at creating new areas of nature reserve fund (NRF), as well as optimizing the existing network of objects with conservation status. In turn, in accordance with current legislation, the declaration of new protected areas must be preceded by work on the development of relevant projects. Actually, this work was carried out during the implementation of the scientific topic "Development of projects for the creation of territories and objects of nature reserves and the organization of their territory." The issue of practical implementation of the developed projects and the announcement by the Sumy Regional Council of 14 new territories and objects of the nature reserve fund of local significance becomes further relevant.
