The purpose of the work is to test promising samples of peppermint with high productivity and ecological plasticity at the stages of selection. Maintenance and preservation of the mint collection and the collection of essential oils and medicinal plants. Research methods - field, selection, laboratory. A collection nursery of mint, which includes 121 specimens (species, varieties, interspecific hybrids, varieties and forms of domestic and foreign selection), is supported. The collection of essential oil, spice-aromatic and medicinal plants, which includes 130 samples, is supported. At the stages of selection, a study of 10 varieties, which are characterized by high yields, resistance to disease and abiotic factors. There are three hybrids 17.01.32, 17.02.03, 17.01.42, which have high economically valuable indicators. Field of application - agriculture, medicinal plant growing, chemical-pharmaceutical and food industry. The value of the work - the results of research will increase the production of raw materials of medicinal plants, in particular the leaves of peppermint, which in general will increase the volume of medicinal products to meet the needs of the pharmaceutical industry.
