The most progressive aspects of structural and functional features of selected international soil databases (SOTER, GSM and WoSIS) are highlighted, which are recommended for use in the development of a modern single profile soil database in Ukraine. A systematized list of harmonized attributes of the profile database of soils of Ukraine has been created. Scientific and methodological requirements to the list of soil data according to the standards of the Global Soil Information System in the form of a Systematized list of harmonized attributes of the profile database of soils of Ukraine are formed. Efficiency of implementation - unification of requirements to the register of databases about soils, increase of informativeness of soil-cartographic materials by 30-40%.
