It was proved that feeding a supplement with a protected protein to the experimental group of animals increased the average productivity of natural milk by 2.0 kg compared to the control group. The fat content of milk was also higher in the experimental group by 0.20%. As a result, the productivity of cows, in terms of basic fat content, in the experimental group was higher by 3.9 kg. Replacement in the diet of sunflower meal with a level of protection of protein from splitting in the rumen - 20%, a protected energy protein supplement with a level of protection against splitting in the rumen 62.25%, increased milk production of cows by 13.2%. It was found that feeding a supplement with a protected protein to the experimental group of young animals increased the live weight gain by 17.3 kg (10.1%) compared to the control. The average daily gain is higher in the experimental group by 81 g (11%). It was found that the use of feed protein supplements with different levels of digestible protein will more accurately balance the feeding rations of cattle, adjust the diet of high-yielding dairy cattle at the initial stage of lactation in order to obtain maximum productivity. The use of protein-energy supplement with a high content of undigested protein in the rumen and permeable starch, promotes greater growth and development of young animals at lower nutrient consumption, which indicates a higher productive effect of this supplement compared to sunflower meal.
