Pisarzhevskii Institute Of Physical Chemistry of The National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2  It was found that the higher photocatalytic activity of mechanochemically obtained 2D C3N4 in the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER), in comparison with the obtained direct liquid exfoliation, is due to its higher reducing ability. It is shown that in nanocomposites based on conjugated polymers and 2D WS2 the formation of a type II heterojunction takes place, which promotes efficient separation of photogenerated charges due to electron transfer to nanoparticles of the inorganic component. It was found that in situ doping of vanadium atoms of nanocomposite based on Mo2C and N,P-doped reduced graphene oxide contributes to a significant increase in its electrocatalytic activity in HER. The fundamental possibility of using Co9S8/Co-N-C catalyst in the hydrogenation processes not only of quinoline, but also of a number of its derivatives (with yields of target products up to 82%) is shown.
