The subject of the research is the causes of risks of injuries of mobile agricultural machinery operators, methods of their detection and evaluation, methods of determining priorities and methods of substantiation of preventive measures. The purpose of the research is to develop a methodology for determining the professional suitability and competence of mobile agricultural machinery operators, a program for determining faultless operation and determining the individual professional risk of operators. Theoretical and practical results. The result of the research is the analysis of modern approaches to risk management in agriculture and assessment of occupational risks in the fields of agricultural production. A method and a program for determining the error-free operation of mobile agricultural machinery operators have been developed. The method of expert assessments of professional suitability of mobile operators for work at industrial enterprises is substantiated, which is a successful tool for identifying quantitative and qualitative factors of the studied process by intuitive and logical analysis by a team of experts of factors that cannot be effectively formalized. Effective implementation – the application of this technique will reduce the number of accidents at work; reduce the number of casualties and material losses.
