The approaches to the creation of topological optimization methodology for designing and manufacturing aircraft and missile parts are developed, on which the algorithm details geometry correction processes based distortions in the additive manufacturing. The method of topological optimization parts design in additive manufacturing is proposed, which providing the ability to create unsupported structures that do not require additional post-processing. The method is based on solving a new problem of optimizing the packing of ellipses within the geometry of the part. The developed algorithm replaces the intangible volumes of parts with elliptical holes. The input parameters are the limitation of the size of the ellipses, the minimum allowable distance between the ellipses. A part with elliptical holes is more durable due to the absence of sharp internal angles (stress concentrators), which is especially important for parts operated under variable load conditions. An approach to modeling the filling of the volume with powder particles in layers is developed, which allows to estimate the porosity of the material deposited from powders of different fractional composition. The approach is to use a fast heuristic algorithm to simulate the filling of the cuboidal region by mixing spherical particles having a given size distribution. A stand for the study of nozzle devices for feeding powder materials into the laser surfacing zone is created. The stand provides regulation and stabilization of supply of gas-powder mix and protective gases in nozzle devices of coaxial type. The stand enables the study of the effect as the nozzle device design parameters and gas-powder jet parameters applying to formation in the cladding area.
