The aim of the work is to develop the basics of a fundamentally new technology for specific spatio-temporal control of some potentially dependent ion channels using nano-photon stimuli. Gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) can cause relaxation of segments of rat vessels. Green laser irradiation (5mW/532nm) increased AuNPs - induced vasodilator reactions. The activating effect of AuNPs on total potassium current in the SMC of vessels was due to the opening of BKCa channels. AuNPs significantly increased the activity of single ВКСа channels of vascular SMC. The mechanism of AuNPs action is related to the ability of AuNPs to increase [Ca2+]i. AuNPs can become a fundamentally new effective opener of potassium channels, which will allow their use in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases.  Product Description popup.authors Іvanova Іryna V Dryn Dariia O Melnyk Mariia I Monciak Igor L Tishkin Sergiy M popup.nrat_date 2021-03-17 Close
