The purpose of research is to develop scientific and practical recommendations for improving the implementation of mechanisms for financial support of innovation processes in the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine. The main tasks of the GDR stage: substantiate the specifics of innovation and financing of the innovation process in the agro-industrial complex; to develop methodological approaches to the formation of the mechanism of financial support of the innovation process in the agro-industrial complex; to analyze the effectiveness of the mechanism of financial support of the innovation process in the agro-industrial complex. GDR results and their novelty: Developed methodological approaches to the analysis of financial security of the innovation process in the agro-industrial complex by identifying potential sources of funding and their effective distribution; the structure of sources of financial support of the innovation process in the agro-industrial complex has been optimized by introducing mixed financing. Publication of GDR results. For the entire period of research defended 1 dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Economics, prepared a monograph, sections in collective monographs, 5 scientific articles, participated in 6 international and national scientific-practical conferences. Implementation of GDR results. The conclusions of the study are as follows: financial support of the innovation process in agriculture - a system of financial relations for attracting, placing and using financial resources at each stage of the innovation process in agriculture.
