Mechnikov National University popup.description2 The object of research: works of writers of transitional historical and cultural eras, as well as literary criticism of the early twentieth century. The subject of research: conditionality of the boundaries of the text of an artistic or critical work by the author's world (the nature of the writer's perception of the world, the peculiarities of author’s consciousness, belonging of the author to an aesthetical or rhetorical type of literature, etc.) Objective (purpose) of research: to investigate how worldviews, world models, aesthetic principles of literary critics and writers influence on the nature of internal and external (test and intertextual) boundaries of their works, to systematize the tools of research of authorial worlds, which corresponds to scientific paradigms of the XXI century. Methods, which were involved in the process of research: contextual, culturological, and intertextual as well as receptive, system-functional, structural-semiotic, hermeneutic strategies. Structure reflection: two parts. In first part the history and current state of theoretical interpretation of the categories "author's consciousness", "type of literature", "author's thinking" in their connection with the categories "text boundaries", "subjective and structural organization of the text" are determined. The results of practical implementation of theoretical provisions are presented in second part (works by L. Tolstoy, A. Grin, poetry of Silver age and poetry of the last wave of emigration).
