The purpose of the work is to develop the theoretical foundations of a reasonable choice of methods for separation, concentration and determination of microquantities of substances with similar physicochemical properties. The study was aimed at the synthesis of a number of new derivatives of 6,7-dihydroxybenzopyrylium, studied their acid-base and chemical-analytical characteristics. It is proposed to use new derivatives for extraction (in the micellar phase, dispersion liquid microextraction) concentration of polyvalent metal ions and as surface modifiers of ion exchangers. The regularities of adsorption extraction of antibiotics and amino acids by sorbents of different nature have been studied. Possibilities of ultrathin sorption separation of elements-analogs of aluminum subgroup are shown. A method of colorimetric determination of water in dimethyl sulfoxide is proposed. Investigation of complex formation of new reagents with ions Mo (VI), W (VI), Sb (III) and Bi (III) in solutions and with further development of appropriate spectrophotometric methods for their determination; optimization of sorption conditions for antibiotics and amino acids with alumina and silicon oxides. Research materials are embodied in the educational process - general and special courses of the Department of Analytical and Toxicological Chemistry. 1 monograph, 1 textbook and 4 textbooks were published. The 4 candidate dissertations (PhD thesis) were prepared and defended.
