Total archaeological survey of the region’s territory “Archaeological cadaster of Lviv region” within the Radechiv and Sokal districts (basin of river Bilostik) Object of research: objects of archeology of the Bilostik river basin within the territory of Chervonohrad district (former Radekhiv and Sokal districts) of Lviv region Purpose: to conduct a continuous archaeological survey of the Bilostik river basin within the territory of Chervonohrad district (former Radekhiv and Sokal districts) of Lviv region, mapping and preliminary research of newly discovered archeological objects. Research methods: archival-bibliographic and cartographic processing; continuous surface examination; mapping of archeological objects; description and photo fixation of locations of objects; classification of the discovered movable archeological material and their cultural and chronological affiliation is determined. The area of about 82 km2 in the modern administrative boundaries of Sokal and Radekhiv city territorial communities of Chervonohrad district was surveyed. As a result of the conducted researches the localization of 34 known objects of archeology was confirmed and 11 new objects were revealed, including 1 place, 43 settlements and 1 mound. Archaeological research in 2020 is a continuation of a set of activities carried out in 2019 - the first stage of research of the Bilostik river basin within the Sokal and Radekhiv districts. During the archeological season of 2020, the survey of the territory of the basin of this river is completely completed, the protection zones of the discovered archeological objects are determined in accordance with the "Procedure for determining the boundaries of the protection zones of monuments".
