Substandard hematite ores of PJSC "Suhha Balka". Purpose. To determine the qualitative characteristics and enrichment of hematite ores using magnetic, gravitational and combined technological schemes. Research methods. Mineralogical, geological, chemical, technological. In the laboratory, two schemes of deep ore beneficiation were tested, which differ in the units of ore preparation for beneficiation. The first scheme involved crushing the ore in the jaw and roll crusher to 5-0 mm and grinding the entire mass of ore to 88% of the class minus 0.071 mm. The crushed product was sent to magnetic gravity enrichment. The second scheme involved crushing in jaw and roll crushers up to 1.6 mm, magnetic separation of the crushed product in a field with an intensity of 1.6 T and separate grinding of magnetic and non-magnetic products. Streams of crushed products were directed to magnetic gravity enrichment. As a result of tests according to scheme 1 concentrate, gravity industrial product and tails. The yield of concentrate was 33.5%. The mass fraction of total iron in the concentrate is 65.74%. Extraction of total iron in concentrate is 50.14%. The yield of tailings on iron is 24.67%. The mass fraction of total iron in the tails is 25.4%. The yield of the gravity industrial product is 41.83%. The mass fraction of total iron in the industrial product is 37.37%. Extraction of total iron at the same time is 35.39%. In the case of combining iron tailings and gravity industrial product in one stream (production waste) - iron losses with tailings is 49.86%. The mass fraction of total iron in them is 32.93%. The yield of this product in the laboratory is 66.5%.
