New technological methods for the synthesis of previously unknown antihypoxants have been developed. The efficacy in hypoxia with hypercapnia and without hypercapnia and in hemic hypoxia have been determined. It will be beneficial for improving intensive care methods in various critical conditions. The new methods of intensive care with the use of the developed antihypoxants differ from the previous ones by the pathogenetic substantiation. The new methods of anaesthesia and intensive care have been analysed and developed. They are already used in practice and improve the survival of patients with hypoxia. The intensive care techniques involving the use of the developed drugs for hypoxia with hypercapnia and without hypercapnia and for hemic hypoxia have been systematized and practice guidelines have been designed.
