The possibility of delivery of compact encapsulated in sago grain small spermatozoa deep into the uterine horn of pigs on the basis of using the physiological mechanism of mechano-receptor activation of myometrial contraction (anti (peristalsis) in the periovulatory period of estrus is proved. Thus initiated contractions of the myometrium, in particular in close in time repeated attempts at insemination, can lead to expulsion of previously inserted into the uterus capsules, which is potentially a factor in reducing the effectiveness of this procedure. The ability of ERCs administered to prepubertal pigs to initiate waves of uterine contractions in different directions is evidenced by their movement and expulsion from the uterus. An important condition for the efficient delivery of capsules with a very small encapsulated sperm dose deep into the uterine horn of the pig is the implementation of the procedure in the period of estrus close to ovulation. If this condition is met, the size of the sperm dose sufficient for successful insemination can be very small - 24-30 million sperm in a sperm portion of 0.02-0.1 ml. The encapsulated diluted semen remained active for at least 2 days during "dry" storage of the capsules in Petri dishes. However, sperm agglutination and loss of translational motility were observed in some samples. From 7 out of 19 (36.8%) sows, after insemination with a very small (20-30 million sperm) dose of encapsulated sperm, farrowings ranging in size from 6 to 10 piglets were obtained. The results of the study of the dynamics of the activity of encapsulated sperm indicate its individual variability and the dependence of sperm motility on such parameters of the capsule as its size and the presence of the liquid phase of sperm.
