Research methods: clinical, laboratory, instrumental and statistical. results and their novelty: there is a high frequency of carbohydrate metabolism disorders among surgical patients with obesity, that are characterized by a progressive course and the need of radical correction; the prospects of using modern information technologies and the feasibility of developing special mobile applications was established, the need for further stomach and small intestine incretin status study was substantiated, high efficiency of metabolic surgery with a multidisciplinary approach, ERAS protocols implementation and training programs in minimally invasive surgery was confirmed. - information on implementation: 6 patents have been implemented in clinical practice; the work significance: a comprehensive algorithm for the metabolic syndrome treatment was developed and implemented.
