The philosophical aspect of the development of modern management and its influence on the formation of the concept of management by values is considered; given practical recommendations for personnel management based on a value-oriented approach. The presence of a correlation between the indicators of unemployment and GDP was proved, a contradiction was revealed between the need to urgently develop measures to reduce the unemployment rate at the macroeconomic level and the traumatic optimization of the number of personnel at the microeconomic level; presented scientific and methodological developments to optimize the number of personnel of the enterprise. The article presents materials on the essence of marketing management on the example of higher educational institutions and discloses the methodological tools for determining consumer behavior in the educational services market. Problematic issues in the field of foreign economic activity of enterprises are considered; the model of the mechanism of management of foreign economic activity of the enterprise is shown.
