The purpose of research is to reveal the theoretical foundations and improve the methodological provisions of the formation and implementation of financial policy for sustainable development of Ukraine. Research methods. To solve the problems and achieve the goal of the study, both general and special research methods were used, in particular: methods of analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction; theoretical generalization; comparative method; methods of analysis, synthesis, abstraction and generalization; graphical method and method of comparisons; historical and logical method; terminological analysis; abstraction and formalization. The information base of the research is scientific works of domestic and foreign scientists, materials of scientific-practical conferences, legal acts of Ukraine, official materials of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, reference and information publications, Internet resources, own empirical research. The scientific novelty of the obtained results lies in the further development of theoretical and scientific-methodical provisions that determine the directions of formation and implementation of the financial policy of sustainable development of Ukraine. The practical significance of the obtained results. The conceptual provisions developed by the author's team on the formation and implementation of financial policy for sustainable development of Ukraine can be used in the practice of state and regional government in the study area.
