The object of the study is the process of combined methane fermentation of cattle manure and vegetable waste. The subject of research is the influence of amaranth, corn silage and manure waste on biogas yield. The purpose of the work is to increase the efficiency of biogas production through the stimulating effect of amaranth on the methanogenic microflora of the manure waste mixture and corn silage. Research methods - system analysis to establish the relationship between biogas output productivity and fermentation time using manure waste and plant biomass; mathematical statistics for the analysis of the results of experimental research on the production of biogas from organic waste in the laboratory; theoretical modeling to establish the dependence of the productivity of biogas formation on the size of the parts of the substrate; experimental modeling to determine the functional dependence of biogas yield on the components of the substrate. The technology provides a method for determining the parameters of the methanogenesis reaction based on data on the yield of CH4 in methane fermentation, determined the efficiency of biogas production by combined methane fermentation of manure and corn silage by stimulating methanogenic microflora with amaranth. The analysis of known methods of increase of fermentation process is carried out. The expediency of amaranth application for intensification of anaerobic biomass fermentation is substantiated. To increase the degree of decomposition of the mixture of manure waste from cattle and corn silage and the release of biogas, there is a need for preliminary preparation of biomass by its destruction. Amaranth in a mixture of manure and corn silage provides acceleration of gas formation processes. WASTE, BIOGAS, METHANE FERTILIZATION, METHANOGENESIS, AMARANT, MANURE, CORN SILOS, ENVIRONMENT.
