The aim is to increase the effectiveness of treatment of inflammatory diseases and traumatic injuries of the cornea on the basis of studying the pathogenetic role of redox disorders, local immunity, followed by pathogenesis therapy with hyperbaric oxygenation and hyaluronic acid in the complex treatment. Research methods - clinical methods (visometry, ophthalmoscopy, biomicroscopy), biochemical methods (study of the activity of oxidoreductases - glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase, glutamate dehydrogenase, lactate dehydrogenase in tear with microprotective method, verification of viral etiology by PCR, statistical processing of results. Equipment - personal computers, laboratory equipment. The novelty of the study is that for the first time in ophthalmology for the treatment of inflammatory diseases and traumatic corneal injuries accompanied by reactive corneal inflammation, postoperative conditions, the inclusion of hyaluronic acid and hyperbaric oxygenation in the complex therapy is proposed; the influence of the proposed therapeutic complexes on redox processes (changes of G-6-FDG, GDG, LDH) is studied. The clinical indicators of treatment of patients with inflammatory diseases and corneal injuries using these treatments also had been analyzed. Practical significance - the inclusion of hyaluronic acid preparation and hyperbaric oxygenation in the complex therapy of inflammatory diseases and traumatic corneal injuries is proposed and substantiated.
