The purpose of the study is to formulate the theoretical foundations of environmental safety of the national economy, to identify its regulators and levers, to provide practical recommendations on the possibility of their introduction in Ukraine in conditions of unsustainable development. Substantiation of theoretical and methodological principles of research of tools and levers of ecological and economic safety and providing practical recommendations for improving its level for the national economy by implementing the basic principles of environmental management. Proposals have been developed for the use of the enterprise's propensity to go bankrupt. The methodical approach to maximization of the integrated indicator is improved, the information-analytical system of diagnostics and monitoring of activity of the enterprises is developed. A descriptive model of management of foreign economic activity of the enterprise on the basis of the use of cognitive modeling is developed, which allows to forecast the volumes of export-import operations.
