The object of research: tax potential of financial and non-financial corporations. The subject of research: financial and economic relations in the process of formation and implementation of the tax potential of financial and non-financial sectors of the economy. The purpose of the research: theoretical justification and development of recommendations aimed at improving the efficiency of formation and implementation of the tax potential of the financial and non-financial corporations. The methodological basis of the research was formed by dialectical and systemic approaches to the identification and analysis of financial relations, the fundamental provisions of finance and economic development theories. The scientific significance of the research is the systematization and deepening of scientific and methodological approaches and the development of practical recommendations aimed at strengthening the State's finances and based on the tax potential of financial and non-financial corporations. Practical significance. Some of the results, that are obtained during the study, were applied: by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, SFS of Ukraine, STA in Kyiv region, the National Commission for Regulation of Financial Services Markets, as well as at the level of individual financial and non-financial structures; in the educational process, in the preparation of methodological support for the disciplines «Financial Market», «Financial Services Market», «Investment» etc. Approbation of research results: scientific school «Innovative, tax and financial policy» was founded, head - Onyshko S.V.; published 107 articles in professional journals, 3 monographs, 131 theses; took part in 31 collective monographs; printed 5 textbooks and manuals; 2 doctoral and 2 candidate dissertations were presented.
