A method for designing the most complex for the current period of smart systems focused on human-machine interaction, in which known technical systems perform the role of only sensory substitution of certain human organs. A smart system for the blind was chosen as an example of important social significance - the rehabilitation of the visually impaired. Here the visual perception is sensory replaced by auditory, ie with the help of ultrasonic sonar near the location creates the illusion of sound vision. To do this, we used the ontological representation of the smart system as a way for the user to achieve its immediate goals and developed algorithms for smart systems based on the interaction of individual levels of information technology, consisting of virtualization technologies, quantitative technologies, data technologies and technologies knowledge. Algorithms for acoustic support of transformation of one-dimensional image contours for sound vision have also been developed. A mathematical model and functional diagram of a digital signal processing device based on the Huang-Hilbert transformation and reconstruction of the probe signal reflected from the object (interference) in the field of human hearing frequencies have also been developed.
