The highest efficiency index value was obtained by the technique of thermocyclic vacuum-plasma nitriding, being most economically cost-effective and productive. The influence of shape and size of 18KhGT steel samples on the process of nitrogen diffusion heating was studied. Mathematical models of the vacuum thermocyclic plasma treatment process are created.
