S. Berezhnoy" popup.description2 The research object is alumina-chromia-zirconia-silica (ACHZS) refractories, a new brand chromic oxide. The purpose of work is technology improvement of ACHZS refractories with 60 % Cr2O3 content, determination of optimal parameters for the production of chromic oxide refractories from a new brand chromic oxide. The research methods are chemical, petrographical, physico-chemical ones. A mixture composition influence on the properties of ACHZS refractories with 60 % Cr2O3 content was researched. The optimal composition, which ensures obtaining of samples with high properties and high corrosion resistance to melts of glass «E» and basalt, was established. The technology of ACHZS refractories with 60 % Cr2O3 content has been improved. A new brand chromic oxide influence on chromic oxide refractories properties has been investigated. It was established that, the samples made from the new brand chromic oxide on properties are not inferior to samples made from currently used chromic oxide, but have large changes in linear dimensions at firing. It can lead to the formation of cracks, therefore using of the new brand chromic oxide for manufacturing of chromic oxide products is ineffective. The new brand chromic oxide influence on ACHZS refractories with 30 % Cr2O3 content properties has been researched. It was established that, in the mixture for manufacturing of refractories, which contains a mix of two brands chromic oxide, it is possible to completely replace one brand chromic oxide, as well as to halve the content of second brand chromic oxide due to new brand chromic oxide, while maintaining high properties of the samples. At JSC «The URIR named after A.S. Berezhnoy» pilot batches of high refractory products were produced. The work should be continued in the direction of technology mastering of ACHZS refractories with 60 % Cr2O3 content, improving of ACHZS, chromic oxide and alumina-zirconia-silica refractories technologies and expanding their areas of application.  Product Description popup.authors Kostyrko Inna Yu.
