During the development, methods of holding the welding flux on the edge of a massive cylindrical part that rotates and is welded were developed. In the production conditions of VT "Turboatom" in accordance with the developed technology successfully performed restorative surfacing of the ridges of the annular configuration, which at the next stage were machined to the required flanges, the shape and size of which correspond to the design documentation. Research on the project was performed at a high scientific and technical level. The results of this work were used in the development of technological processes of repair welding of large components of regular products of energy and nuclear engineering.
