Soil diversity in the ancient beech forests of Roztoczya region has been studied. The taxonomic, biotopic and ecological structure of Сollembola communities in the soils of fragmented meadow habitats of the Transcarpathian lowland is estimated. The practical recommendations and optimal approaches for conservation and management of the Carpathian black stork population in the conditions of intensive forest cover fragmentation have been developed. A practical guide for assessing the impact of transport infrastructure on biodiversity for the countries of the Carpathian region has been prepared. Indicators of efficiency of management of nine protected areas of the Carpathian, Roztoczya and Polissya regions were obtained in order to determine the dynamics of their professional development and biodiversity protection.
