The purpose of the work is to create the experimental sample of intelligent information system of hydrographic situation coverage in the Black Sea (IIS) for operative processing of oceanographic data of the resource base of the programme "International Oceanographic Data and Information Exchange" of the "Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission" of UNESCO in the interests of improving the efficiency of navigation and hydrographic support of navigation and search and rescue operations at sea. Research methods are the search and analysis of information about the subject of study, development of functional, informational, architectural, technical solutions for IIS. As a result, an experimental sample of IIS was created. For the first time, a set of cognitive services based on existing cognitive IT platforms was used to cover the hydrographic situation in the Black Sea, which provides processes for automatic and automated collection of oceanographic data, their structuring and presentation to the user in an interactive form. The scope of application of the work results includes navigation and hydrographic support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and oceanographic support of maritime activities. The results of research are significant for further use in the development of the national system of coverage the hydrographic situation in the Black Sea with the use of oceanographic data for the navigation and hydrographic support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine based on unified systems approaches.
