But, given that the final consequences are not always adequate action of causal factors, the latter, provoking the beginning of the pathological process, may either cause the progression of the disease, or not affect its course. There is no information in the domestic literature on the study of the fact that the morphology of teeth is mainly due to hereditary factors, and the process of dentinogenesis is regulated by many genes. In our opinion, it is the defects of the genetic link in the laying of the epithelial organ may be the main factors that determine the genetic predisposition of patients to dental disease. Examining the analysis of micronutrient composition, we found that most authors studied the percentage of calcium, phosphorus, zinc in enamel and dentin, without associating it with possible features during the placement and formation of hard tissues of the teeth. After teething, the main supplier of trace elements in the hard tissues of the tooth is the oral fluid. Instead, the study of the concentration of calcium and inorganic phosphate in oral fluid is traditionally associated with the pathogenesis of dental caries. However, it can be assumed that the shifts in the active concentrations of calcium and phosphorus, as well as the hydrogen index, which characterize the crystal-forming function of saliva, cause different mineralization and, consequently, different resistance of enamel to mechanical loads. In addition, changes in the hard tissues of the teeth may be related to the structure of the alveolar processes and their density. There is no convincing data, especially with the involvement of the latest technologies, research on the amount and distribution of trace elements in different parts of the teeth.
