The purpose of the work is to improve the numerical method of calculation of stress-strain and microstructural taking into account the overlap of rollers, within the improved method to calculate residual stress-strain and microstructural states of sheet and thin cylindrical parts during surfacing, to formulate recommendations for surfacing parameters to increase the life of parts. Numerical modeling of surfacing processes was performed using a finite element technique, a unified model of viscoplastic flow, the theory of growing bodies, as well as thermokinetic diagrams for the calculation of microstructural transformations. The parameters of residual stress-strain state for two-layer surfacing of steel SV08A during surfacing under smooth resistance conditions were obtained. It was established the fact of overlapping of rollers in the adjacent layers insignificantly changes the residual state. Satisfactory agreement between calculated and experimental data was obtained. Recommendations on the conditions of surfacing, support, and fixing of elements are given. Product Description popup.authors Zinchuk Lubov P. Karnaukhov Vasyl G. Kyrychok Ivan F. Kozlov Volodymir I.
