Aim of the research: substantiation and development of conception of development of non-Olympic sport in Ukraine in the conditions of reforming the sphere of physical culture and sport taking into account the national experience and features of functioning in modern international practice. Aim of the second stage of the research: research of systems of organization and management of development of non-Olympic sports in foreign countries and Ukraine; determination of socio-economic and legal conditions of their functioning; improving the education system. Object of the research: non-Olympic sport in the conditions of reforming the sphere of physical culture and sport. Subject of the research: the impact of the reform process on the development of non-Olympic sports in Ukraine; the system of knowledge of non-Olympic sports and the technology of its implementation. Methods of the research: analysis of scientific and methodological literature and normatively-legal sources, synthesis, generalization, comparison, analogy, content - analysis, induction, deduction, systematic approach, observation, conversation, expert questioning, questionnaire, methods of mathematical statistics. Results of the research. The best practices of the leading countries of the World Games, their system of organization and management of the development of non-Olympic sports are studied. The approaches of foreign countries (Italy, Great Britain, France, Germany, etc.) were compared with national strategies of preparation and participation in competitions, which allowed to identify promising ways to develop non-Olympic sports in Ukraine.
