Potentially dangerous objects that can become sources of toxic substances in the Tisza riverbed in emergencies have been studied. The composition of chemical pollutants in the river and the dynamics of its changes over time were determined by chromato-mass spectroscopic studies. Software has been created to forecast the spread of pollution along the riverbed and the state of danger to the population of the surrounding areas. The program contains hydrological data of the Tisza River, hygienic standards for toxic pollutants, which allows for a quick forecast. This is important in emergencies to make decisions to prevent adverse health effects. The software is implemented for use in the Transcarpathian Regional Center for Hydrometeorology and the State Ecological Inspectorate in the Transcarpathian region.
