The purpose of research is to improve the concept of legal protection of human rights and the development of justice in Ukraine. The subject of research is the legal protection of human rights and the development of justice in Ukraine. Research methods. General scientific and special methods of cognition of legal phenomena. In particular, the following methods: historical (in the study of manifestations of crime in human history); formal-logical (in the study of the content of legal norms, which provide for liability for socially dangerous acts); comparative law (used in the analysis of the legislation of some foreign countries); sociological (when conducting questionnaires, research and teaching staff and law students on problematic issues of crime); statistical (used in the generalization of statistical materials of registered crimes, as well as the State Judicial Administration on the number of convicts); system-functional method of ascent from abstract to concrete, method of modeling and forecasting. Research results and novelty. On the basis of the conducted research the systematic analysis was carried out and new approaches on improvement of separate questions of the organizational and legal mechanism of maintenance of protection of human rights in Ukraine were developed. It was noted that the organizational and legal mechanism, the system of human rights protection in Ukraine should have signs of transparency, clarity and ease of application, which will significantly improve the level of human rights protection in our country.
