A comprehensive assessment of the impact of the system of non-banking institutional investors on the financial and investment support of economic growth, the domestic stock market development and financial intermediation is carried out. The structural, specific and institutional disparities in the development of non-banking institutional financial institutes in Ukraine are identified. A business-oriented model type of non-banking institutional investment being formed in Ukraine is grounded. The development of a business-oriented model type of non-banking institutional investment is expands in the national economy. It is grounded that the key features of this model are caused by the low efficiency of state policy of development of non-bank institutional investment. The main drawbacks of the state’s regulatory influence include operating, strategic and institutional ones. The lack of a systematic approach to the state policy of non-banking institutional investment and strategic foundations for its further development is emphasized. The conceptual principles of implementing the state strategy of the activation of non-banking institutional investment development in Ukraine involving the strengthening of its social focus, financial stability support and reliability of non-banking institutional investors, the activation of the innovative activity of venture funds, the development of investment potential of insurance companies, the formation of a complex system of human rights protection − members of collective investment are offered.
