G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University popup.description2 The project is a comprehensive study of the history of childhood in Ukrainian society of the XI - XVIII centuries. Changing the attitude of the state, church and society to the child is a prism through which one can trace the great transformations of Ukrainian society in its transition from the Middle Ages to modern times. Childhood is not seen as a static phenomenon, but as one that evolves in response to economic developments, political transformations, worldview changes. The aim of the project is a comprehensive and comprehensive study of various aspects of childhood in state and legal regulation, religious beliefs and folk practices of medieval and early modern Ukraine (XI - XVIII centuries). The main tasks of the project: - to trace the evolution of views on the age of childhood, to explore the basic current rules of law on the subject of "representation of childhood"; to find out how the child appeared in these norms, how they protected his rights; - to consider the life of the child in the field of family relations, to explore various aspects of child labor and socialization of the child, to study the play culture of children; - to develop new research methods of researching the history of childhood, to develop packages of didactic educational materials of new educational disciplines. The results of the research have been published in 4 monographs and a number of journal articles. Participants took part in 32 international and All-Ukrainian scientific conferences.
