Collected and analyzed scientific and technical information on the technology of formation and operation of existing oceanographic data exchange systems. The general requirements are defined and the principles of creation of the Information system are developed. As a result, the Information System of the Oceanographic Data Bank of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine was created. Based on the analysis of existing databases in the profile institutions of the NAS of Ukraine, the classification of available oceanographic data is developed. Conclusions are made about the possibility of entering these databases into the Information System. The ship modular hydroacoustic laboratory as a component of a technology complex of devices for collection, storage and operative exchange of the oceanographic data received as a result of expeditionary scientific researches by establishments of NAS of Ukraine was created. Tests of hydroacoustic laboratory during sea and river expeditionary researches on specialized vessels are carried out. The Concept of the interdepartmental scientific and technical program in the field of oceanographic and hydrographic studying of the sea and river environment of Ukraine in the interests of navigation and hydrographic has been developed. As a result, the technology of collection, storage and exchange of oceanographic data obtained during a marine (river) research by the institutions of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine was developed.
