The research method is analytical. The goal of research is to create technology for collecting, transmitting, storing, analyzing and communicating to users of oceanographic information and data. The concept of centralized information system and principles of technology of providing the database with oceanological data is created. As a result of the research, the technological support of the oceanographic database formation and the relational logic scheme of the database structure were developed. To ensure the entry of hydroacoustic complex data into the database, a mathematical model of the acoustic information flow has built. On the basis of the mathematical model the data structure of the hydroacoustic complex has developed. Work has been carried out on the organizational support of data collection, creation and operation of the oceanographic database. The Oceanographic Geoportal has been modernized. Draft documents on methodological support for oceanographic data collection have been developed.
