The subject of research - technical requirements and test methods for pressure fire flat hose for fire and rescue vehicles. The purpose of the work is to substantiate the technical requirements and test methods for pressure fire hose flat-folding hoses for fire and rescue vehicles and to develop an appropriate standard (DSTU). Research methods - analytical (analysis of domestic and foreign regulations, guidelines and technical documents, information leaflets, manuals, reference books, test reports and other literature sources, Internet information on the selected research area) and experimental method of research quality indicators (operating and test pressure) , burst pressure, abrasion resistance) of fire hoses using the test methods given in DSTU 3810 to substantiate the provisions of the draft national standard of Ukraine. The novelty of the research work is the adoption of a new scientifically sound classification of fire hose flat-folding for fire and rescue equipment, determination and confirmation of the main parameters and test methods of the hoses in accordance with modern European requirements. Based on the results of research work, a draft national standard of Ukraine DSTU "Fire-fighting equipment. Flat-folded fire hoses for fire and rescue vehicles.
