The subject of research - innovative processes in the tourism sector as a factor in socio-economic development of the state. The purpose of the work is to provide a structured analysis of innovation processes in the tourism sector as factors of socio-economic development. Research methods - the following methods of scientific cognition are used in the work: deductive logic, graphic, rating estimations, method of average values, generalizations, expert estimations, mathematical and cartographic modeling. During the study, to achieve this goal, certain tasks were performed: - innovations as a factor in the development of modern tourism are analyzed; - innovative processes in the development of tourist markets of different levels are analyzed; - innovative tendencies of development of the enterprises of tourist sphere of Ukraine and the world are analyzed; - the system of state regulation of innovations in Ukraine and abroad is analyzed; - the recreational and tourist potential of Ukraine is analyzed; - the organizational and economic bases of formation of system of medical tourism in Ukraine are analyzed; - approaches to ensuring economic security of tourist enterprises are analyzed. The practical significance of the study is that the results obtained allow: - to form an optimal strategy for the development of enterprises in the tourism sector of Ukraine; - to determine the system of state regulation of innovations in the tourism sector of Ukraine; - to determine the organizational and economic principles of formation of the system of medical tourism in Ukraine; - outline areas for improving the management of innovation processes in the tourism sector of the state. The obtained results can be used to improve documents (regulations, methods, instructions, etc.) on the development of tourism in the regions of Ukraine.
