The purpose of the work is to develop recommendations for ensuring gas safety of the excavation section 1 of the northern lava of the central panel of block 11 of layer d4 of PJSC «Mine Management "Pokrovske» when using a reverse ventilation scheme, type 1-M. Research methods – generalization and analysis of results, methods mat. statistics, calculations by standard methods. As a result of the work, the mining-geological and mining-technical characteristics of the excavation section 1 of the northern lava of the central panel of the block 11 of formation d4 of PJSC «Mine Management "Pokrovske» were analyzed. "Recommendations for ensuring gas safety of the excavation section 1 of the northern lava of the central panel of block 11 of formation d4 of PJSC «Mine Management "Pokrovske» when using a reverse ventilation scheme, type 1-M" were developed. The application of a reverse, type 1-M, ventilation scheme of the excavation section 1 of the northern lava of the central panel of unit 11, calculation of the air flow required for its ventilation, and the maximum allowable load on the clean-up face by gas factor are agreed upon. As a result of the application of the developed recommendations, the safety of mining operations is ensured, which is of great socio-economic and environmental importance.
