Makarenko popup.description2 The study of the ways of applying innovative technologies in the system of preparation of athletes and physical education of different groups of the population has allowed to develop a set of measures aimed at optimizing the physical culture and health of students in the conditions of the region, comprising three components: the first – «Theoretical ...», the second – «Practical ...», the third – «Control ...». As a result of the study, the «Young Athlete» physical education program for senior-preschool children has been developed and substantiated, aimed at gaining basic knowledge of physical culture as well as the formation of motivational and functional competences for athletics. The program provides for the development of individual motor experience of the child, consistent learning of movements and integral motor acts, education of basic physical qualities, formation of psychological stability and others. Within the framework of the research the analysis of the use of innovative technologies in the training of skiers-racers has been conducted. Among those that have been used in recent years, it is worthwhile mentioning the complexes of special exercises, technical facilities and the construction of the training process. Teaching the discipline «Ski training» involves the study of the basics of cross-country skiing and the development of ski runs (classical and skating), transitions from the run to the course, techniques of turns in the movement, ways of descents, climbing, braking and the basis of theoretical knowledge.
