Today, the most informative methods of movement analysis are podocontourmetry (analysis of the morphological structure of the foot), stabilometry (quantitative assessment of motor abilities) and baropodometry (assessment of foot functions in dynamic and static positions). The information obtained with the help of specialized equipment can be used at all stages of the treatment process - from diagnosis of the disease with the detection of the leading pathological link to assess the correctness of treatment, study of expected and long-term rehabilitation results, etc. Known methods of diagnosis and correction of the feet combine the fact that they take into account only static and kinetostatic deformations, in a sitting-standing position, stepping from foot to foot. In the dynamics, compared with statics, where in the standing position on each limb accounts for about 50% of human body weight - this component increases by an average of 4 times. Analysis of the literature indicates a lack of comprehensive studies that characterize the condition, development and readiness of segments of the musculoskeletal system, including the foot, to various loads of different intensities, in order to establish the dynamics of changes in the arches of the foot as compensatory and adaptive. The study of the distribution of load on the foot during the full cycle of the step in the dynamics, not fully studied. Known methods do not allow to diagnose functional changes in the foot that occur when the load changes, as well as to determine the individual physiological characteristics of the lower extremities. In this regard, morphofunctional diagnosis of the foot is an essential element in the prevention of a number of disorders of the musculoskeletal system, and the applied aspect of the analysis of human locomotion, in modern biomedical engineering, is very relevant and promising.
