The aim of the project is the determination of optimal conditions for sensor substrates creating based on titanium dioxide layers of different morphology and possibilities of their plasma functionalization. The obtained nanostructured bulk surface layer of the titanium dioxide have the ordered arrays of nanotubes, which increase the surface area of the sensor electrode. Samples of different phase states were obtained by annealing. The images of the morphology of samples of different types obtained on an electron scanning microscope show the surface morphology. It has been experimentally shown that double anodizing significantly improves the degree of ordering of nanotube arrays. By annealing at the temperature of 400C, layers in the polycrystalline phase in the polymorphic modification of anatase were obtained, which was confirmed by the Raman spectra of the samples. The resulting structures have a depth of from 3 to 30 μm and diameters from 90 to 200 nm.
